JAMMU, JANUARY 11: Several public delegations and individual today meet Advisor to Governor, K Vijay Kumar and apprised him their grievances and demands at weekly public hearing under the aegis of Jammu & Kashmir Governor’s Grievance Cell.

A delegation of Udaiwala residents demanded construction of lanes & drains and requested to direct JMC officials to shift the waste dumping site from the area.

The NIS trained Coaches projected their issues including continuation of their services.

The Employees Union of Sericulture department sought regularization of casual labour working in the department.

All J&K Contingent Paid Education Employees Union submitted a representation highlighting various issues including regularization of CPWs and wages as per minimum wages act.

Aspirants seeking recruitment in SDRF requested for expediting the selection process and early release of the final selection list.

A delegation of Vocational Instructors working on a non-fixed term academic arrangement in Technical Education department urged for considering their regularization.

All J&K VLWs Association of Rural Development Department sought pay parity with Patwaris working in the Revenue department.

Residents of village Panjgrain, Nagrota projected various issues of public importance including up-gradation of health facility and better road connectivity in the area.

Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association   and a delegation of National Youth Corps presently deployed with Traffic department also registered their grievances for redressal.

A delegation of Chinore Farm Land Owner Association urged for release of revised rent rate in favour of the land owners.

A delegation of Village Development Committee of Kothi Manotrian- Reasi sought Advisor’s intervention in up-gradation of the    Primary Health Centre.

Horticulture Development Officers under the banner of All J&K Horticulture Officers Welfare Association made a representation seeking assured career progression, removal of pay anomaly in the gazetted cadre, holding of DPC, filling and creation of district cadre posts and others.

A delegation comprising Multipurpose Workers of Rural Development department also projected their issues and redressal of the same.

Besides this, around 40 individuals also apprised the Advisor about their issues and projected their demands which included up-gradation of health, road, schools and other public matters.

The Advisor gave a patient hearing and assured them that their genuine demands will be looked into.
