Handwara: In a midnight blaze, at least ten shops were gutted in Handwara town main market in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district last night, official said on Wednesday.
According to reports, fire started from one wooden shop during the night and soon engulfed the nearby ten shops and damaged them completely.
“The cause of fire was not immediately known,” said a police official.
Senior official of the district told Kashmir Images, we are collecting the damage report from the site and after that relief will be sanctioned.
