4 rifles go missing from Cong MLC’s official residence: Police

Srinagar, Dec 31: Jammu and Kashmir Police have dismissed from service four policemen, who were deployed as personal security officers (PSOs) with Congress MLC, Mohammad Muzaffar Parray for “dereliction of duty and unauthorized absence.”

Four rifles went missing from guard room of the official residence of Parray in Jawahar Nagar area of Srinagar. A police official said that one of the four PSOs of the Congress MLC had complained on Sunday that the rifles were missing from their trunks in the guard room at Parray’s home.
