Baramulla: The Forest Protection Force (FPF) on Sunday seized a truck ferrying illicit timber and arrested three persons.
Official sources said that a team of FPF had laid a naka at Ladoora-Jahama crossing and seized aTata Mobile bearing registration number JK05 B 1315 carrying illicit timber.
Sources said that the naka party arrested three persons from the spot who have been identified as Mohammad Ashraf Khan (Driver), Bashir Ahmed Khan (Village Chowkidar) and Mohammad Younis Khan.
All three arrested smugglers were taken to forest protection office Baramulla and further investigation has been taken up in this regard, official sources said.
