Srinagar, December 30, 2018: All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani has extended his condolences on the demise of former president of Anjuman Moien-ul-Islam Sopore, a senior member of Jamat-e-Islami, renowned educationist and a prominent social worker Abdul Ahad Pandit.
Geelani in a statement said that his (Pandit’s) contribution in the moral development of the area particularly Sopore will be remembered for decades to come.
“He was a sincere Islamist with utmost dedication for the freedom movement and welfare of the community,” Geelani said in the statement.
Hurriyat chairman prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
