GST training programme for DDOs begins at Kargil

KARGIL, DECEMBER 26: Deputy Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer, LAHDC, Kargil Vikas Kundal today inaugurated a 3-day GST training programme for the DDOs and Dealing Assistants of Government departments.

During the training programme organized by the State Taxes Department Kargil, the DDOs and Dealing Assistants will be imparted training on different aspects of Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) and other related aspects.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the training programme has been organized in the district with the objective to enlighten the DDOs about the procedural aspects of GST and TDS in day to day official dealings like the execution of work contracts, supplies, purchases etc.

The DC impressed upon the DDOs and Dealing Assistants to exude wholehearted enthusiasm and active involvement in the training sessions so that they get well versed with the modes of tax deduction procedures as per TDS and GST.

Among others present on the occasion included State Taxes Officer Kargil Muhammad Yusuf, District Treasury Officer Kargil Iftikhar Hussain, Accounts Officer to DC Kargil Ajaz Ahmed, DDOs and Dealing Assistants besides other concerned officers.
