SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 14: Local Auqaf Committee, Trade Federation, and other civil society members Friday called on Deputy Commissioner Shopian Dr Owais Ahmed to express their gratitude for his efforts in getting Sub District Hospital upgraded to District Hospital.
It was a long pending demand of the people of the district.
On the occasion, President of Trade Federation Gh Nabi Turay said, “It is a moment of pride for us that the long pending demand of the district has been met. We are highly indebted to the DC Shopian for his efforts in this cause.”
The DDC congratulated the delegation and said that the government is relentlessly working towards development of the district. He assured that the genuine demands of the public are being considered and will be addressed in a time bound manner.
