The school, established in year 2010, is located on the road side of Baramulla-Gulmarg road.

“We have approached the Zonal Education Office (ZEO) several times requesting the authorities to fence in the school but were told they are facing scarcity of funds,” said a parent.

Around 50 students, all minors, studying at school are at the constant risk because the school is located close to the road which remains busy with traffic movement.

When contacted Headmaster Primary School Sheikhpora, Irfan Ahmad Shah, said: “We have brought the issue in the notice of higher authorities and local MLA several times but to no avail.”
