Srinagar, Dec 07: A newly married couple died in a road accident in Baramulla district of north Kashmir Friday when their motorcycle was hit by a car, police said.
Muzaffar Ahmad Khan and his wife died on the spot after their motorcycle was hit by a car at Tapper in Pattan area of the district, a police official said.
The couple got married last week. Police said they are looking into the case.
Meanwhile, two persons died when a water tanker skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge in Kishtwar district on Friday, police said.
The incident occurred in Dul Hasti area. Two persons, including the driver, died in the accident, the police said.
