Wagoora, Nov 23: Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), under the aegis of Ministry of Youth Affairs, Government of India, district Baramulla organized two days Block Level Inter-sports Meet in collaboration with ‘We Tech’ group Wagoora Baramulla in which more than 150 youth and sportsmen participated.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Dr. Altaf Hussain Principal Govt. High School Wagoora instructed the youth to take part in games and sports to remain fit and healthy and highlighted the importance of sports.
A large number of sports lovers and NYK volunteers, youth ‘We Tech’ group wagoora and other dignitaries attended the programme. The event witnessed the participation of Volleyball teams, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho teams and Tug of War teams besides 100 meters race was also held in the meet.
