DDC Ganderbal flags-off Sheep breeders for exposure visit

GANDERBAL, FEBRUARY 28: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush Singla today flagged-off a group of 30 sheep breeders of the district for a day-long Exposure visit.

The farmers were flagged-off from Mini Secretariat, DC office complex Ganderbal to sheep breeding farm Daksum, Anantanag under Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) scheme. Dr. Abdul Majeed, District Sheep husbandry officer Ganderbal was also present on the occasion.

The programme organized by Sheep Husbandry Department under Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) scheme is aimed to help the breeders to acquaint themselves with the latest technology and practices in the Sheep Husbandry sector.

Speaking on the occasion, DDC stressed breeders to avail the benefits of modern technology used in sheep rearing and advised them to make full use of latest technology.
