While speaking to Kashmir Images over phone, State President KCA, Bilal Zargar alleged, “Instead of converting these Centres into Ultra Small Branches, Bank authorities are appointing their relatives and are putting the lives of 1300 families at stake.”

According to Zargar, around 600 professionals from Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh are on protest in Jammu, whose careers have been jeopardized.

He said that official apathy and “insensitiveness” has ruined the  career of people associated with Khidmat Centres.

Alleging that they were “cheated time and again”, the KCA said, “A certain lobby in J&K Bank has time and again cheated us, they have ruined our dreams of becoming successful entrepreneurs.”

While appealing Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik to intervene, KAC said, “We appeal Governor Sahab to intervene and look into our demands.”

The demands of KCA include: Release of their GAP support (financial assistance) from the IT Department. Permanent settlement solution; besides, converting Khidmat Centres into Ultra Small Branches.
