Pulwama: Suspect militants attempted to blow up army’s bullet proof Casper vehicle with IED (improvised explosive device) at Trichal village of Pulwama in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on late Thursday night.
A police official said that bullet proof Casper vehicle of 55 RR came under an IED blast followed by intense firing near Trichal bridge on Lassipora-Pulwama road around 9:30 late Thursday night.
However, no loss of life was reported from either side, he said.
According to locals a huge blast was followed by heavy firing.
According to official reports, the area has been cordoned off. More details awaited.
