SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 16: Renowned academician Professor (Dr) Rafiq Mir passed away today after a brief illness.
Dr Rafiq Mir was Head of the Community Medicine Department, SKIMS Medical College/Hospital Bemina, Srinagar.
The administration, faculty, and students of SKIMS Medical College expressed grief and shock over the demise and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
They remembered the deceased academician for his efficiency and dedication and termed him as one of the popular teacher amongst his students.
Dr Rafiq Mir’s services for the augmentation of facilities at the Medical College were also remembered.
