Pulwama, Oct 15: At least ten youth were detained by the government forces in Arihal village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district during wee hours of Monday morning.
The locals of the Arihal village said: “Government forces raided multiple houses in Kumar Mohallah and Rather Mohallah as they detained nearly a dozen youth here.”
A police official said, “The detained youth were found involved in the stone pelting during the cordon and search operation on Sunday morning in the Arihal village.”
Meanwhile, Pulwama town remained shut for the consecutive fourth-day, earlier a spontaneous shutdown was observed here following the killing of a Hizb militant in Babagund area of the Pulwama town.
