LeT pays tribute to the Hizb Commander Mannan Wani

Srinagar, Oct 11 : Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Mehmood Shah on Thursday in a statement paid tribute to Hizb Commander Mannan Wani saying, “the PhD scholar turned freedom fighter, A. Mannan Wani, and his companion, for sacrificing their lives in the cause.”

In a statement issued here Shah said, “Wani’s sacrifice can never be forgotten. He was a PhD scholar. His sacrifice proves that the highly educated youth of Jammu-Kashmir has taken big decisions to get India out of the state at all costs.”

“When young people of any nation opts the path of sacrifices, the occupational powers have to accept defeat. Today the freedom movement is at its peak. Our mothers, sisters, daughters, children, old and young, students, doctors, lawyers, scholars and businessmen, all are on one page and are committed to get freedom,” LeT spokesman, Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi quoted the outfit chief, Mehmood Shah saying.

Shah in the statement said, “Stone pelters are our ‘Ababeel’. Abraha’s troops were destroyed when Ababeel threw pebbles on them. We are proud of our brave sons and daughters who are fighting the Indian army with stones. We thank the people who faced the danger and helped the holed up mujahideen. “

“Martyrdom of A. Mannan Wani will give a big lift to the freedom struggle, and doors of freedom will be opened. Wani used his gun as well as his pen for the cause. Our martyrs are our heroes. Their blood will never go waste,” he added.
