HASK establishes another skill training center for needy and poor girls in Namblan

Baramulla: In a bid to provide tailoring skills to poor and orphan girls under vocational training cum rehabilitation scheme (VTCRS) programme, Human Aid Society Kashmir (HASK) – a north Kashmir based social organization- established one more cutting and tailoring center for needy girls of far off Namblan village of Narwav tehhsil in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.

The vocational training cum rehabilitation center was inaugurated by Block Medical Officer (BMO) Sheeri Dr. Sheikh Farooq Ahmed flanked by Chairman HASK Bashir Ahmed Mir and social activist Master Farooq Ahmed of Namblan.

Chairman Human Aid Society Kashmir Bashir Ahmed Mir highlighted the achievement of organization under VTCRS program and stated that HASK has honour of training 100 orphan and poor girls in cutting and tailoring besides has provided them support for rehabilitation.

“We have trained around 100 girls in first phase and our organization will continue to train and rehabilitate the orphan and poor girls. This center is another endeavor to reach out to poor girls and empower them with skill based training,” HASK Chairman Mir.

Chief guest BMO Dr. Sheikh Farooq Ahmed hailed the efforts of HASK and extended his full support to the social organization and poor and needy beneficiaries.

He said that the work of HASK from last 20 years in itself speaks about dedication and responsibility shown towards neglected and downtrodden section society by the organization and people associated with it.

“We need organizations like HASK to uplift poor and needy. I admire and acknowledge the work and congrate them for their commendable work,” added Dr. Farooq.
