Poonch: Guns again roared along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district on Thursday evening as the armies of India and Pakistan exchanged fire.
An official from Indian side said that the fire was started by Pakistani troops in Gulpur and Khari Karmara area of Poonch around 5:45 pm.
“Our soldiers responded effectively and strongly,” he said.
However, there was no immediate report of any loss of life in the firing exchange that lasted for half an hour.
