Rehmat-e-Alam CC defeatS Late Javaid CC by 74 Runs

Anantnag, October 02: In the ongoing Mirza Galib T20 Cricket tournament at Government Degree College Boys Anantnag, Rehmat-e-Alam CC overpowered Late Javaid CC by defeating them with a huge margin of 74 runs.

Winning toss and batting first Rehmat-e-Alam CC smashed bowling of Late Javaid CC and set a huge target of 190 runs for them when every player contributed to his team with his bat.

Getting tremendous start from the opening batsmen Rehmat-e-Alam scored a total of 189 runs in allowed 20 overs of game while as the Late javaid CC were bundled-out for just 116 runs.

Nadeem Ahmad the middle order batsman of Rehmat-e-Alam CC destroyed the bowling of his rival team and scored 63 runs where as Unaid Khan and Ubair Ahmad scored 33 and 23 runs for their team.

Chasing the target of 190 runs, Late Javaid CC seeped and collapsed when they were not able to maintain the run rate during the game as their batsmen could not stand in ground to make a better partnership to chase the target.

Easy dismissals were seen from Late Javaid CC team however a few of batsmen showed their performance in ground but could not lead their team to more than 116 runs.

Kaisar Ahmad and Irshad Ahmad with 20 and 24 runs were the lead scorers for Late Javaid CC.

Man of the match award was given to Nadeem Ahmad for his brilliant all round performance of 63 runs and taking 1 wicket in the game
