   HCC Handwara defeats BCC Bandipora by 57 runs; lifts 64-Special Cup Sopore

Sopore: HCC Handwara Crush BCC Bandipora in a one sided Contest to lift the title. Earlier, HCC Handwara made 164 runs in allotted 20 overs after winning the toss with Irfan Ahmad’s blistering 80 runs.

In reply, BCC Bandipora was dismissed for 107 runs. Sajad Ahmad and Irfan Ahmad removed BCC Bandipora’s top  batting line as HCC Handwara stunned BCC Bandipora with a remarkable 57-run win in the 64 Special Cup final at the Subhan Stadium Sopore on Sunday.

Sajad Ahmad Ahmad finished with six wickets and Irfan Ahmad ended with three wickets .Irfan Ahmad was adjudged as player of the final while Afaaq Ahmad (Seer Sports Club) was declared as player of the tournament as he scored 209 runs and took 7 wickets throughout the tournament.

Veteran former cricketer of Sopore Bashir Ahmad Bhat was the chief guest on the occasion, besides Muhammad Amin Pukhta , Rouf Chalkoo , Fayaz Ahmad Dar, Nisar Ahmad Khanday and Muhammad Yousif Gabroo were also present on the occasion and distributed the awards among the players.
