SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 29: Arun Bakshi and Sunita Koul, President and General Secretary of the 10+2 Contractual Lecturer Association of J&K, respectively, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Bakshi and Ms. Koul apprised Governor about the demands of the contractual lecturers who are protesting since the last 593 days for regularization of their services as per the J&K Civil Services (Special Provisions) Act, 2010. They also requested to allow those contractual lecturers to serve, whose services have been discontinued meanwhile.
Governor assured Bakshi and Koul that he will take up their issues with the concerned authorities for their early resolution.
