The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved extension in his services for two years beyond November 04, 2018, the order issued by the Personnel Ministry said.

The NIA is looking into cases of “terror financing and hate speeches” in Jammu and Kashmir involving certain separatist leaders.

Among them is the case involving Aasiya Andrabi, chief of the banned Dukhtaraan-e-Milat outfit, for allegedly waging war against the country and delivering hate speeches in Jammu and Kashmir.
