Tral, Sep 17: Unidentified persons tried to set ablaze a Panchayat Ghar in Seer hamlet of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
SP Awantipora Mohammad Zahid Malik said that unknown persons tried to set Panchayat building ablaze at Seer last night.
He said two windows of the building were damaged in the fire incident.
The police officer said that the police was investigating the incident which took place a day after the state government announced the dates of Panchayat polls.
