PULWAMA, SEPTEMBER 13: Girls Higher Secondary School (GHHS) Pampore today celebrated its annual day which is a part of a series of Annual day events being celebrated in District Pulwama
District Development Commissioner Pulwama, G. M. Dar was present at the occasion. He emphasized on the role of education in the empowering of girls and the duty of the teacher community to imbibe value system among students. DC also distributed cheques worth 30 thousand among the talented girl students who participated in scintillating performances, enacted skits, presented songs and exhibited humorous plays.
The DDC also allotted Rs 10 lakh for the construction of a boundary wall around the school. Moreover, DC said a reading room facility and a table tennis room shall also be provided to the school in a week’s time.
Principal Degree college Pampore, District Information Officer Pulwama, Tehsildar Pampore, Executive officer Municipality Pampore and SHO Pampore were also present at the occasion.
