Police seeks help of general public in identifying unidentified male dead body

Srinagar: Police has sought cooperation of public in identifying body of a person who fell from the under construction Auditorium building of Amar Singh College and later succumbed to injuries.

A statement issued by police said that Police Station Shergiri received information from a reliable source that an unidentified person fell from the under construction Auditorium building of Amar Singh College and got grievously injured on Sept 08. Subsequently, he was shifted to SMHS hospital for medical attention where he succumbed to his injuries today morning, said the statement.

Police took the body in possession and after autopsy, has kept it at Police Hospital in Police Control Kashmir for identification.

In this connection proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been  initiated by Police Station Shergiri, said the statement.

“If anybody has any information regarding the identity of the dead body, may kindly inform Police Station Shergiri on 9596770525 or PCR Srinagar on 9596222550, 9596222551, or “Dial 100”, said the statement.
