DLRC, DCC meeting held at Bandipora

BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 06: A joint meeting of District Consultative Committee (DCC) and District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting of various banks and line departments was held here today to review the pace of progress registered by the banks and sponsoring agencies during current financial year till ending June.

The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Mohammad Wasim Wani presided over the meeting while as Lead District Manager Bandipora, Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan was also present in the meeting.

The meeting was informed that the financial institutions operating in Bandipora district have extended a credit of Rs.116.24 crore, which include Rs.66.31 crore under priority sector and Rs.49.93crore under non priority sector during first quarter of current financial year.

It was further informed in the meeting that JK Bank alone has disbursed Rs.99.94 crore which accounts to 45 percent of the total credit disbursed by all banks operating in the district for current financial year.

Addressing the meeting, the ADDC exhorted upon the concerned Officers to work with more coordination and cooperation to achieve the target for development and eradication of unemployment. He also asked them to start a vigorous awareness campaign in rural areas regarding benefits of various centrally sponsored and state schemes.
