Srinagar: Authorities on Wednesday decided to suspend the train service from Srinagar to Banihal.
The decision was taken in the wake of an encounter going on in Muniward area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official said that the train service will run on the Srinagar-Baramulla stretch.
Notably, a gunfight is going on at Binpora, Muniward area of Khanabal since 5:00 am in the morning.
