Well Care Medical Center, Fortis Hospital conduct free Medical Camp in Soura

Srinagar: In order to provide free medicines to the general public and strengthen the health sector, Well Care Medical Center (WMC), Soura and Fortis Hospital, Kangra Himachal Pradesh jointly conducted a free ENT camp in Soura Srinagar on Sunday.

Large number of people from different parts of the Kashmir valley visited the said camp. Dr Zafarullah Beigh,Consultant ENT, Fortis Hospital Kangra who is having special interest in Micro Ear Surgery and neck surgery in addition to routine ENT surgical procedures examined and treated the patients with the concerned health issues.

Dr Beigh also offered counseling and health education to the people about concerned ailments.

A good number of volunteers and paramedics were also part of the camp.

Dr Basharat Ahmad, spokesperson WMC said, “The camp was extended upto 3:00 PM due to the overwhelming response. We apologize to the patients who could not be adjusted due to the paucity of time”.

“We assure that those patients will be adjusted on next visit of Dr Zafarullah in the last week of September 2018″, he added.

“It is a part of our efforts to make basic healthcare accessible for all and we are trying our bit for the same”, Dr Masood ul Hassan, Managing Director WMC said.
