JAMMU, FEBRUARY 21: The government has accorded sanction to decentralization of State Life Insurance Wing of J&K Funds Organization from provincial level to District Level.
“Sanction is accorded to the decentralization of State Life Insurance wing of J&K Funds Organization from provincial level to Districtlevel,” said an order issued by the Principal Secretary Finance, Navin Kumar Choudhary.
It said Provincial State Life Insurance Fund Offices of Srinagar and Jammu shall transfer the relevant records and accounts to theconcerned District Fund Offices for further maintenance.
“However, State Life Insurance related matters of Civil Secretariat Employees and other Moving Employees shall continue to be looked after by Accounts Officer GP Fund Moving Cell Civil Secretariat,” the order said.
According to the order the Director General J&K Funds Organization shall separately issue detailed guidelines to ensure smooth transition to the new set up.
