Srinagar: Joint Resistance Leadership on Friday called for a complete shutdown on August 26 and 27 against tinkering with the state subject laws.
JRL comprising of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and Yasin Malik have urged people to observe strike against the move to scrap laws that bar any non-state subject holder from buying property in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
On August 27 supreme court of India will be hearing petitions challenging the vires of Article 35 A for final disposal.
