Anantnag, Aug 13: One person died and seven others were injured in a road accident in Srigufwara area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday.
Reports said that a passenger cab skidded off the road and fell into Dadi canal in Khiram village today, resulting in injuries to eight people.
The injured were shifted to a hospital in Srigufwara wherefrom they were referred to District Hospital Anantnag for specialized treatment.
One of the injured succumbed at the hospital, they said.
