Seven day Life Skill Education Training program kick starts at Sheeri

Sheeri: A week long ‘Life Skill Education Training “program organized by  Nehru Yuva Kendra Baramulla Zam Zam Club kick started at Sheeri Narvaw on Thursday in which  large number of youth and students would be provided life skill education on various themes.

The program was inaugurated by Block Medical Officer (BMO) Sheeri who was flanked by District Coordinator NYK Baramulla Abdul Aziz Hakeen, Medical Officer Dr. Asif Ahmed and Headmaster Middel School Sheeri Hafeeza Bano at BMS Sheeri.

The resource persons on this occasion highlighted importance of life skill education for youth and students.

“A student will grow into a responsible citizen of tomorrow with decision-making and problem-solving skills that will prepare them for every situation in life,” said BMO Sheeri  Dr. Sheikh Farooq.

The topics like Health is Wealth, Observation of Adolescent Health Days, Skill is Survival, Moral Education and Personality Development were discussed with the participants.

The speakers stressed upon the fact that the learner will use problem solving and decision making skills in the process of learning or solving a given situation. The learner will also show resilience, healthy social and emotional behaviour, which is the real purpose of holistic learning.
