Four booked for posing as cybercrime officials

SRINAGAR: Police have registered a case against four persons for allegedly impersonating Cyber Crime Department officials and cheating a man of ₹50,000 in Batmaloo area of Srinagar.

An official said police received a complaint alleging that the accused posed as cybercrime officials and fraudulently obtained ₹50,000 from the complainant.
