Srinagar: Prem Bahadur, Under Secretary in the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, on Wednesday reviewed the implementation of Special Campaign 6.0 at the offices of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Akashvani and Doordarshan Kendra in Srinagar.
The review covered cleanliness and maintenance of office premises, record management, disposal of electronic waste, optimum utilisation of office space and measures to improve administrative efficiency.
Bahadur interacted with officers and staff members and stressed the need to maintain clean and organised workplaces and sustain the campaign’s initiatives as part of routine office functioning.
He also took note of an initiative under which staff members are individually responsible for maintaining plant pots on the office premises to promote green surroundings.
He was accompanied by Qazi Salman, Director, PIB Srinagar, Sunil Koul, Assistant Director, PIB Srinagar, and other officials.
