Srinagar: Police in Baramulla have apprehended an accused involved in two cases of theft registered at Police Station Pattan.
The accused Fahad Nazir Bhat alias Fahad Petrol, resident of Chiramgari Mohalla, Safakadal, Srinagar, police said is a “habitual offender” involved in case FIR No. 196/2026 and FIR No. 238/2026 of Police Station Pattan.
During verification of Bhat’s antecedents, his involvement in 13 previous FIRs registered at various Police Stations in Srinagar also came to fore, police said.
