Srinagar: Around 2.7 lakh students are scheduled to appear in the annual Class 10, 11 and 12 examinations conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) across Kashmir and the winter-zone areas of Jammu, with the Class 10 examinations beginning on Monday.

Education Minister Sakina Itoo on Sunday extended her wishes to the candidates and said the board had completed preparations for the smooth conduct of the examinations.

According to the schedule shared by the minister, Class 10 examinations will begin on October 19, followed by Class 12 on October 21 and Class 11 on October 29.

In a post on X, Itoo urged students to remain confident, manage their time effectively and approach the examinations with a calm and positive mindset.

She also appealed to parents to support their children with patience and encouragement, avoid placing unnecessary pressure on them and provide an environment conducive to their well-being.

The minister asked centre superintendents and examination staff to ensure that the examinations are conducted fairly and transparently while maintaining discipline and the integrity of the examination process.

To address examination-related complaints, JKBOSE has constituted a Grievance-cum-Monitoring Cell, she said.

For the Kashmir Division, students and parents can contact the board at jsexamskd.jkbose@jk.gov.in or call 0194-3186762. For the Jammu Division, the contact details are jsexamsjd.jkbose@jk.gov.in and 0191-2585732.

The facility is intended to provide assistance to students, parents and other stakeholders and ensure timely redressal of examination-related grievances.
