Srinagar: Fifteen tourists, drifting on the waters of Dal Lake were safely rescued amid gusty winds and rains, officials said.
They said that the tourists, who were enjoying their Shikara ride on Dal Lake, were safely rescued after their Shikaras got stranded near Nehru Park amid strong winds and rain.
CRPF and SDRF personnel and rescue teams immediately launched a rescue operation and safely evacuated all the stranded tourists, said officials.
