Army GOC visits forward areas in Ladakh, reviews troops’ operational preparedness

Leh/Jammu: General Officer Commanding of Leh-based Fire and Fury Corps Lt Gen Madanraj Pande on Monday visited forward areas to review the operational preparedness of the deployed units in the Union territory of Ladakh, the Army said.

The general officer commanding (GOC) also interacted with the troops during the visit which was aimed at strengthening operational readiness, the Army said.

“Lt Gen Pande visited forward areas to review the operational preparedness, combat readiness and sustainability of units deployed in the challenging high-altitude terrain,” the Army’s Fire and Fury Corps said in a post on X.

It said the GOC interacted with troops, commended their high state of operational readiness and exhorted all ranks to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, mission readiness and operational excellence.
