Bandipora: Two rusted hand grenades were recovered near the Kishanganga River in Chontiwari village of the Bagtore area in Gurez on Saturday, officials said.
The explosives were reportedly spotted by locals near a forested area, who informed the police about the recovery.
A police team from Police Post Izmarg reached the spot and took possession of the grenades.
Officials said further details regarding the nature of the explosives and their safe disposal are awaited.
