Devotees throng Dastgeer Sahib shrine as Friday following Urs observed

Srinagar: The Friday following the Urs-Mubarak of Hazrat Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA), popularly known as Dastgeer Sahib, was observed at the historic Dastgeer Sahib shrine in Khanyar on Friday, with the sacred relic of the revered saint displayed for devotees.

Thousands of devotees from Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir visited the shrine, offering prayers, reciting the Holy Quran and participating in special supplications.

The display of the sacred relic drew large crowds, with devotees gathering to seek blessings and pay their respects. Many described the occasion as spiritually significant and an opportunity to remember the teachings of Dastgeer Sahib (RA).

The shrine and its adjoining areas witnessed a devotional atmosphere throughout the day as worshippers continued to arrive for prayers and religious observances.
