BANDIPORA: Bandipora emerged champions of the Inter-District Union Territory-Level Under-17 Boys Handball Competition after defeating Baramulla in the final at S.K. Stadium here on Tuesday.
The hosts secured the title with a strong performance in the championship match, which saw competitive play from both teams.
In the third-place playoff, Jammu defeated Udhampur to finish third in the tournament.
The competition, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), concluded after several days of matches involving teams from different districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said the tournament was aimed at providing young athletes with opportunities to compete at a higher level and showcase their talent.
The event witnessed participation from district teams across the Union Territory and featured competitive contests marked by sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout the tournament.
