SRINAGAR: Police arrested a drug peddler in Anantnag and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
A police spokesperson informed that Fiyaz Ahmed Sheikh, a resident of Fruit Mandi Parimpora, Srinagar, presently residing at Eidgah Bijbehara, was arrested during checking on Tulkhan–Bijbehara road after 40 grams of cannabis was recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Bijbehara for further investigation.
