According to the organisers, the tournament aims to provide emerging cricketers from the region with a competitive platform to showcase their talent and gain wider exposure. Red FM’s regional outreach is expected to support efforts to highlight local cricketing talent.

The partnership builds on Khyber Cement’s involvement in regional sporting events, including its previous title sponsorship of the Kashmir Super League.

Speaking on the occasion, Umar Tramboo, Director Corporate and Strategy, Khyber Cement, said the company viewed sports as an avenue for creating opportunities for young people and supporting talent development in the region.

Wasim Ahmed Khan said Khyber Cement had supported the league since its inaugural edition and would continue its association with the tournament to help provide greater visibility to local players.

The Red Premier League is expected to feature cricketers from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir and provide a platform for emerging talent to compete and gain recognition.
