Srinagar: A policeman was injured on Sunday after two unknown men allegedly thrashed him in Soura area of Srinagar.
An official claimed that two unknown men who were trying to park their scooty at a no parking zone outside the SKIMS hospital allegedly thrashed a Selection Grade Constable Nazir Ahmed, after he refused to permit them to park their vehicle there.
The cop has received injuries in his head and has been shifted to the hospital for treatment, a police official said, adding that the assailants later fled from the spot.
