Srinagar, Aug 5: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Muhammad Yasin Malik has gone underground to evade arrest in view of shutdown called against “planned abrogation” of Article 35-A.
A JKLF spokesman said that police raided Malik’s Maisuma residence to arrest him last night.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat chairmen, Syed Ali Geelani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq have been placed under house arrest.
