Officials said the event is intended to provide a platform for participants to display their products, expand market access and connect with potential buyers and business partners.

Addressing the gathering, Choudhary said the expo was aimed at enhancing visibility for local artisans, entrepreneurs and enterprises while helping them access wider markets. He said the event offered opportunities for participants to interact with visitors and explore new business prospects.

The exhibition features a range of products, including handicrafts, handloom items, traditional crafts, local produce and food, reflecting the region’s cultural and economic diversity.

According to officials, the expo is part of JKTPO’s efforts to promote trade, commerce, investment and exports from Jammu and Kashmir through market linkages, trade fairs, buyer-seller meets and export promotion initiatives.

The organisation also serves as the nodal agency for the One District One Product (ODOP) programme and other initiatives aimed at supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs.

The expo is open to the public and offers visitors an opportunity to explore the region’s crafts, culture and cuisine at a single venue.
