GULMARG: Alyas Ahmad Naisroo on Friday assumed charge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Gulmarg Development Authority (GDA).
Soon after taking over, Naisroo held an interaction with officers and officials of the authority and reviewed the status of ongoing development works and other activities being undertaken by the GDA.
Officials said the new CEO stressed the need for coordinated efforts and efficient execution of development projects while ensuring improved services for tourists and other stakeholders.
During the review, Naisroo emphasised the importance of preserving Gulmarg’s ecological and aesthetic character alongside planned and sustainable development of the tourist destination.
He also called upon officers and staff of the authority to work towards improving infrastructure, public facilities and the overall visitor experience in Gulmarg.
