Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday felicitated J&K Bank for its contribution to the conduct of the Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2026, including facilitating pilgrim registration and providing banking services during the annual pilgrimage.
The recognition was conferred at a post-Yatra felicitation function held in Srinagar, where the bank was represented by its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Amitava Chatterjee.
According to the bank, its designated branches across the country assisted in pilgrim registration, while banking services were provided to yatris and other stakeholders during the pilgrimage period.
Chatterjee thanked the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board and the administration for the recognition and said the honour reflected the efforts of the bank’s employees involved in Yatra-related operations.
