The programme opened with Ganesh Vandana and went on to showcase performances by Dogri and Punjabi singers, traditional Dogri and Kashmiri dance groups and Punjabi folk artists. Organisers alternated musical and dance segments throughout the evening, offering audiences a blend of regional cultural traditions.

The performances highlighted the cultural diversity of Jammu and Kashmir, with Dogri and Kashmiri folk elements sharing the stage with Punjabi music and dance.

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Jammu, Shridhar Patil, and Jammu Municipal Corporation Commissioner and JSCL Chief Executive Officer Dr Devansh Yadav attended the event along with senior officials, artists and members of the public.

Speaking on the occasion, Patil said such programmes provide opportunities for people to come together in public spaces and encourage greater participation in cultural and recreational activities.

Dr Yadav said the initiative was intended to provide a platform for local artists while promoting the region’s cultural heritage. He said Tawi Wonderland Park was being developed as a public space capable of hosting cultural, social and community events in addition to serving as a recreational destination.

The event also offered local artists an opportunity to perform before a large audience and reflected the growing use of Tawi Wonderland Park as a venue for public gatherings and cultural activities in Jammu. Visitors remained at the venue throughout the evening, with the park witnessing significant footfall during the programme.
