Srinagar: A delegation of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) J&K UT Council, led by its Chairman Iqram Ali Shafiee, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and briefed him about the upcoming third edition of the CII J&K Health Conclave, scheduled to be held in Srinagar on August 29.
The delegation included CII J&K Director Khurshid Dar, Convener of the CII J&K Healthcare Panel Sajad Lone, Ujala Hospital Kashmir Managing Director Dr. Parvez Sofi and Arafat from Ujala Amandeep Hospitals.
In a separate meeting, a delegation of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at from Reshnagri in Shopian, led by Khurshid Ahmad Mir, also met the Lieutenant Governor and raised several public issues concerning the area.
The delegation sought upgradation of the Government High School and Health Sub-Centre in Reshnagri, besides measures for the promotion of the horticulture and industrial sectors.
Meanwhile, MLA Bishnah Dr. Rajeev Kumar Bhagat called on the Lieutenant Governor and highlighted issues related to the establishment of a police post at Rehal and a drug rehabilitation centre in the Bishnah constituency.
